Flamingo Beach returns to Silverburn for another summer of fun

 Sandy shores have returned to Silverburn as the much-loved Flamingo Beach has arrived for its fourth consecutive summer.

Open daily from 10am to 5pm until 23 August, Flamingo Beach offers a golden sandy play area for youngsters to enjoy, whatever the Scottish summer has in store.

Located in the main atrium outside Costa and Hotel Chocolat, Flamingo Beach will once again support Silverburn’s long-standing fundraising partnership with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, with all proceeds from admissions and merchandise sales going directly to the charity.  Tickets are priced at £3.25 for 30 minutes play.

Since launching in 2023, Flamingo Beach has become a firm favourite in Silverburn’s summer event schedule, welcoming more than 64,000 guests across its three previous runs.

“Our guests have consistently shown incredible generosity towards Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. Last year alone they helped raise £50,000 which we’re hoping to build upon this year.”

This has only been possible thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters and partners like Silverburn, whose continued commitment to our young patients is truly remarkable. “While lots of children will be jetting off soon for their holidays, hundreds more will spend this summer in hospital. Thanks to the vital funds raised by Silverburn and guests at Flamingo Beach, we can support them at every stage of their journey.”
