Silverburn are proud to have recently been awarded Breastfeeding Friendly accreditation by Healthier Scotland.
The Scottish Government scheme recognises destinations that are working to make Scotland a society that supports parents to breastfeed wherever and whenever they wish. Silverburn has always been breastfeeding friendly, however this recent training demonstrates our efforts to educate our team and to provide the best experience for our guests.
The scheme advocates for mothers to feel empowered to breastfeed wherever they choose whether that is in public or private spaces. To facilitate this, Silverburn has a Family Room which offers a quiet space for mothers to breastfeed if they decide that is where they feel most comfortable.
