Silverburn Wins at National Loo of the Year Awards

We are delighted to share that Silverburn has been recognised at the national Loo of the Year Awards, receiving multiple accolades for excellence in washroom facilities, including winning the national ‘Period Dignity’ award.

This award recognises our commitment to providing safe, hygienic and inclusive washrooms, with free period products available in all facilities and regularly restocked to ensure availability, alongside touch-free sanitary bins and menstrual waste disposal bags in every cubicle. Our washrooms were also highly commended for Baby Changing and Changing Places facilities, while our service partner Andron received a high commendation in the Scotland External Contractor category.

Regarded as the gold standard for washroom excellence in the UK, the Loo of the Year Awards assess facilities against stringent criteria including cleanliness, maintenance, accessibility, inclusivity and overall customer experience. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring every guest feels comfortable, welcome and supported throughout their visit.

This award follows an exceptional year for Silverburn, which saw us named UK Retail Destination of the Year at the 2025 SCEPTRE Awards and celebrate the milestone of welcoming 16.5 million visitors in 2025.
